3 INCHES OF BLOOD Begins Recording New Album
November 10, 2006Vancouver, British Columbia-based metallers 3 INCHES OF BLOOD have entered Armoury Studios (AC/DC, AEROSMITH, LOVERBOY, KISS) in their hometown with producer Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT) and engineer Dan Turner to begin recording their new album, tentatively due in early 2007 via Roadrunner Records. "We'll be tracking drums here and then moving to Mushroom studios (also in Vancouver) to record the rest of the album," the group writes on its web site.
As previously reported, a new 3 INCHES OF BLOOD demo track, entitled "Goatrider's Horde", recorded this past spring during a session in Seattle, WA with producer Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT drummer),has been made available for streaming at this location.
3 INCHES OF BLOOD's latest CD, "Advance and Vanquish", was released in October 2004 via Roadrunner. Recorded at a Chicago studio with producer Neil Kernon (NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE),the album was mixed by Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, NAPALM DEATH).
